Have you got an idea for a new product or business, but can’t find
anyone to help you turn it into a reality? Well, be bold - perhaps you
don’t need anyone else.
Try Insight Out; a course that will take that idea; polish it and
brighten it up, as well as giving you the skills and confidence to go
it alone.
Insight Out aims to equip you with the know-how to clean up in the
business world, and although success isn’t automatic you will be paid
£1000 just for taking part
Insight Out Fact File
• Five week course where participants work alongside
entrepreneurs from creative industries as they develop their ideas
into a professional business proposal.
• These proposals are then presented to a panel of
experts, who will split £10,000 of funding between the best ideas.
• If you don’t get a share of that funding you still leave
with a business proposal and are paid £1000 for taking part.
• The course starts 14th November 2005 but the deadline
for applications is 3rd October 2005.
• Run by the University of Central England (UCE) in
association with the National Endowment for Science, Technology and
the Arts (NESTA).
• Places limited to 14 people. To apply you must be a UK
resident that has graduated in the last three years from a course
related to the creative industries – see website for details and
application form.
