Dear ADM-HEA list
(with apologies to members also on ARLIS, ARCLIB or AAH-HE who will
have seen a very similar posting)
Some of you may remember that I sent this list an email earlier this
month asking for people managing image collections (slide and/or
digital) to get in touch with me about a research project I'm doing.
Some of you will have already been engaged in lengthy email
correspondence with me or have filled in my questionnaire (for which
many thanks)!
Out of a list of about 110 institutions I hoped to reach, I've now
had questionnaires back covering more than 45 - and there are at
least another 40 questionnaires in circulation.
However, I believe there are other collections out there I haven't
yet reached. If you look after a shared image collection used in
teaching the history of art, architecture or design (single subject
or component of another course) - or you know someone within your
institution who does - could you please let me know.
This research is for an MSc dissertation but the findings will be
widely disseminated. It will also inform the work of TASI
(http://www.tasi.ac.uk/) and the CLIC research project
(http://clic.oucs.ox.ac.uk/)
With best wishes,
Grant
