Tom and others
This is a copy of the emailed response from East Riding of Yorkshire
Council....
Dear Mr Revell,
The Licensing Authority for East Riding of Yorkshire Council will be issuing
licences under the Licensing Act 2003, from 24th November 2005, in
accordance with the requirements of that Act; the guidance issued under
S.182 of the Act, and the Licensing Authorities Statement of Licensing
Policy.
The disability discrimination legislation is a separate legislative regime
which has its own enforcement procedures against those not fulfilling the
requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. In the case of licensed
premises the responsibility lies with the individual or company providing
the goods or services from those premises.
Please note that this is the final response of the Licensing Authority in
respect of this matter.
Regards
Paul
