Have you seen 'feminist perspectives on disability' by Barbara Fawcett 2000?
This gives good discussion of the parallels. The most obvious, which I am
sure you are aware of is the similarity in distinctions made between 'sex
and gender' in feminist work and that of 'disability and impairment' in
disability studies.

Subject: feminism - disability
Hi list members
I am looking for info on the impact of feminism on disability, or vice
versa. For example,
a how inclusive of disabled women is feminism in general?
b does the accusation that disability rights activism marginalises women
still hold credence?
c to what extent do disability theories and feminist theory run in
parallel?
all info gratefully accepted!
