Health Promotion & Community Development Team Leader
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Please note this post is subject to evaluation

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute at the leading edge of
developments in health promotion and community development in the ethnically
diverse borough of Ealing. The purpose of this role is to:
• Lead and co- ordinate work to progress national and local policy for
health promotion and community development across Ealing
• Manage and develop the Health Promotion Team to build the capacity of the
PCT and its partner organisations to enhance health and well- being for
individuals, communities and organisations
• Plan and develop a strategic approach to prevention and health promotion
across a range of priority population health issues
• Develop, manage and evaluate evidence- based health promotion projects to
meet the needs of diverse groups especially marginalised and excluded
communities.
You will need strong health promotion skills and experience of managing
people and resources. The ability to foster positive working relations with
both internal and external stakeholders and to work flexibly across
settings, topics and disciplines is essential.
You will need a minimum of two years’ experience of working within a
statutory, voluntary or community sector organisation, and be able to
demonstrate the capacity to support the delivery of change through
partnership working.
