SRM offline bug replication achieved but unfortunately not repeatably,
now D-Cache is just working.


1.2 Edinburgh

D-Cache working with tests to and from RAL at initially 300 Mbits but
now can only get 200 Mbits unfortunately.

DPM tests have been blighted by hardware issues but will soon be
experimenting with new computers, and will add 10 Terabytes to DPM
probably but maybe to D-Cache


1.3 Lancaster

Have a second SRM for SC3 setup and about to publish resources

Planning on decommissioning 2 Terabytes of Classic SE storage and
replace with two SRM's one 20 Terabytes and one 33 Terabytes.


1.4 Imperial College London
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

RAL testing found transfers at between 200 and 300 Mbits per second and
total storage is 6 Terabytes. Needed to change configuration to switch
of parallel transfers of a single file, as this was impacting
performance.

Not getting correct information about available space 0.31 Terabytes is
the published quantity.

Resources will be published and running next week.


1.5 Manchester

BDII issues are now sorted in Manchester except for space calculations
and possibly the nature of the SRM.

Still want details of Pool computer life cycle management, including
details of adding and removing pools.


1.6 Glasgow
~~~~~~~~~~~

has been focusing on trialing DPM, the main activity is putting bugs in
Savanna.
Experience is encouraging in that the documentation is available just
poorly organised. Making pools read only works but unfortunately SRM API
call srmcopy method still has bugs.
