Dera colleagues
Two unrelated queries:
1. Are there any Rilkeans out there who could point me in the direction of a
good account of Rilke's relationship to Alfred Schuler - for example, his
attendance at Schuler's lectures and possible influences on his writing?
2. I'm also looking for accounts of the Mutterschutz/Sexualreform movement in
Germany and Austria, and possible literary responses to it. There is plenty of
material on Helene Stöcker, but very little on others connected with the
movement: I'm interested in particular in Maria Lischnewska, Ruth Bré, Iwan
Bloch or Grete Meisel-Hess, and any literary writers whose work responds to
these ideas.
Many thank for your help
Peter
