David and other list members-
I had some problems posting to the list. My apologies if this is a
duplicate.
Much of the eye tracking technology is vendor-specific, although there
are also many similarities between classes of systems (e.g., video based
systems, or eye coil based systems). Your best bet might be to visit
individual vendors. Some professional conferences attract a lot of
vendors so you can see many of them in one place. Examples of such
conferences include:
Eye Tracking Research and Applications Symposium
(http://www.e-t-r-a.org/whats-new.html),
European Conference on Eye Movements (http://www.ecem.ch/), and
Human Factors and Ergonomics Society meeting
(http://www.hfes.org/Web/HFESMeetings/05annualmeeting.html).
There is also a one-day workshop on eye tracking at the Human Factors
and Ergonomics Society meeting in Orlando this September.

Subject: [EM_LIST] courses
Hi, my name is David Moore and I've just started a PhD which i hope will
include the use of eye tracking however I am finding understanding the
technology difficult and would like to know if anybody is aware of any
courses
available to learn these skills.
Thank you
David
