Thanks Jordan. I would strongly advise anyone who is having trouble with the
digest to experiment with their settings. I have been assisting various
people with this and the right setting for you does seem to depend very much
on the system you use - there is no one right way. So please do follow
Jordan's example and check out your own options. (info at the end of every
email)
Re Jordan's change of heart - 17 people have voted to date: 11 for a blog &
6 against. But I guess Jordan's declaration changes that to 10 for and 7
against.
Any more second thoughts from anyone? Maybe we should be discussing first
and voting later.

Hi
I actually voted yes to shifting to a blog, but I recant! In finding out how
to vote in the poll I found out how to switch my digest options to html so
thatıs cut down todayıs digest to the odd few thousand lines (down
considerably from text-only which gave me text-only but also html code
versions of everyoneıs messages very long and difficult to trawl through).
Now if we could agree to only include the snippets of previous posts that
contextualise responses, my personal reasons for voting yes would be done
away with. I know that there were other reasons but Iım only commenting on
mine which were to do with digest difficulties. I agree with Jeremy that the
type of community would be changed by a blog.
