Hi,
This reminds me of the mouseover interfaces that Talan Memmott created
using JavaScripts:
http://www.memmott.org/talan/works.html
His of course are far more complex, using mouseover 'and' clickable
navigation, as well as JavaScripts that remember where you are and what
you have already done, returning different results.
I noticed a comment on dontclick.it where someone mentioned liking the
mouseover interface because it alleviated stress in their shoulder. But
with dontclick.it, one still has to move the mouse around, and a further
improvement might be a keyboard 'arrow' interface. Of course, voice
command or optical/retinal 'readers' will likely replace the mouse. When
this happens, the mouse will become a creature in the museum of the old,
wild and wooly web.
Randy.
