Here's the complete list of Figaro applications used in ORAC-DR:
ASCOUT
BBODY
BCLEAN
EMLT
EXTRACT
FWCONV
GROWX
GROWYT
IARC
IRFLAT
ISCRUNCH
ISHIFT
LXSET
OPTEXTRACT
PROFILE
SCROSS
SFIT
XCDIV
XTRACT
YSTRACT
GROWX, GROWYT, ISHIFT, XTRACT and YSTRACT can be replaced with KAPPA tasks.
EMLT can be replaced with a combination of KAPPA tasks and EXTRACTOR. There's
probably another way to do LXSET as well. ASCOUT and BCLEAN aren't really
spectrum-specific so I'd be surprised if there wasn't another way to do those.
The rest are fairly spectrum-specific.
All of these are in either the spectroscopy or the IFU code, as would be
expected. The imaging and SCUBA pipelines are 100% Figaro-free.
As Malcolm said, we tried to limit Figaro usage. We further tried to limit it
by replacing all of the COPOBJ/CREOBJ/DELOBJ calls with Perl equivalents that
Tim wrote a while back.
Cheers,
Brad.
