Dear All,
PsyPAG's Annual Conference is to be hosted by the University of Exeter (23rd
- 25th August 2005). The PsyPAG annual conference is a supportive
environment for postgrads to present their research to their peers.
There are a limited number of slots remaining for those who wish to present
a paper or a poster at the conference, in order to accommodate this the
conference team have extended the deadline for abstract submission to 30th
June 2005.
Please refer to http://www.psypag.co.uk/conference2005.html for further
information and guidelines.
Please remember that we welcome submissions from all areas of psychology and
all levels of postgraduate study.
Conference bursaries are available, see website for details, we have also
secured some budget accommodation for delegates.
Full conference attendance will cost £45 including the conference dinner.
Delegates can also register at a reduced rate for partial attendance.
Accommodation costs are between £30 and £42 per night.
Four highly respected academics have kindly agreed to participate as keynote
speakers, Prof Jolanda Jetten, Dr Alan Slater, Prof John Stein and Prof Jo
Silvester.
Travel costs can vary but budget airlines such as http://www.flybe.com can
fly to Exeter from as little as £16 one way.
If you need any help or advice re travel details please contact the
conference team who will be pleased to help.
We'd also like to point out that the PsyPAG AGM will be held during the
conference. This is a fantastic opportunity to become involved, as several
posts are up for grabs! Two Quarterly Editors are required, as well as
several other key posts.
More details are available in the current issue of the PsyPAG Quarterly.
The conference team look forward to meeting all delegates, presenting,
merely just observing or even potential PsyPAGgers.....
regards
Glen (Communications Officer)
