N. Wales sometime! A few years ago I met Albert Flewin's son, then aged in
his nineties. AF wanted him to marry the mine manager's daughter, but he
married a girl from Dorset instead! If anyone else comes across Flewin, I'd
be v. interested. Incidentally, his widow became a housekeeper for a Mr
Slatter, manager of Great Rock Mine (micaceous haematite) in Devon in the
1930s.Tom.
