italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Hi,
studies about the Italian Web are rare. Even readership data and so on are
hard to get; the Nelsen/Netratings measurements, however, could be a good
starting point (you can find useful data at: http://www.assinform.it/).
You can find a linguistic survey of Italian Internet newspapers in:
* L' italiano giornalistico : dall'inizio del '900 ai quotidiani on line /
Ilaria Bonomi. Firenze : F. Cesati, 2002. ISBN - 88-7667-144-7
* Lingua e Web / Massimo Prada - In: La lingua italiana e i mass media / a
cura di Ilaria Bonomi, Andrea Masini, Silvia Morgana. Roma : Carocci, 2003.
ISBN - 88-430-2796-4
General notes about online newspapers are in:
Comunicare / Mirko Tavosanis, Marco Gasperetti. Milano : Apogeo, 2004. ISBN
- 88-503-2093-0
A book I have still not seen is:
Bytes all'arrabbiata : come Internet ha rivoluzionato i giornali italiani :
ma chi ci guadagna? chi scrive? e chi ci capisce? / a cura di Andrea
Piersanti ; pref. di Giovanni Giovannini , interv. di Mario Morcellini,
Vittorio Roidi, Roberto Seghetti. Roma : Ente dello spettacolo : Progetto
Sigaro : Centro di Documentazione Giornalistica, 2000. ISBN - 88-850-9515-1
