Hello all,
As you know, libraries, museums and archives in the North East have been
supporting Skills for Life and adult learning for many years. To celebrate we
are hosting an event to showcase some of the good examples and to launch two
advocacy documents featuring case studies from across the region. Just a final
reminder that if anyone wants to attend the launch of 'Ladder to Learning &
Employment' and the regional Basic Skills report 'A preferred place of
learning' the event takes place this Wednesday at 2pm at South Shields Library,
Tyne & Wear. Speakers include Henry Kelly (LSC), Natasha Innocent (MLA) and
James Price (One NorthEast).
