Speak to Sheffield this sounds not dissimialr to the situation they
faced quite a few years ago now when the Hallamshire went from an A+E
to a MAU and MIU combo with the main (adult) A+E service being
centralised to the Northern General. They also have the fun of surgical
speciality transfers from the NGH A+E to the hallamshire for quite a
few specialities including gynae and anything remotely head and neck
(ENT, max fax , eyes iirc)
