Peter,
There is an applications interest group session at the Kyoto interop
meeting, as per the attached announcement on the apps list.
Should one of us who is going to be there say something about SPLAT-VO?
I'm not exactly volunteering since I'll already be mouthing off
about TOPCAT/STILTS/STIL in that session, so if Norman or Al want to
step in that would suit me; on the other hand at least I will be in
that session while anyone attending Data Models-1/DAL-2 would miss it.
On the third hand, maybe it's a DAL matter after all?
In any case, Peter if you think it's appropriate and want to come up
with a few slides or words on the topic I dare say one of us can
run through them in Kyoto.

Subject: Applications Interest Group Session.
There is a single applications interest group session
at the Kyoto Interoperability meeting next month. While I will
not be attending the meeting, it's time (and past time) to
get the ball rolling on setting up the session. Please send
me (or the group) your requests for presenting topics in the session.
Appropriate topics include:
- New or updated VO science applications
- New or updated VO libraries
- Issues and concerns with the implementation of VO standards in software.
[If these do not fit into one of the working groups.]
- Unaddressed areas where VO standards would be helpful in building VO tools.
Feel free to suggest other topics if you think they belong.
Regards,
Tom McGlynn
