I wouldn't have thought so because the eds wont want to take up any more
space. Maybe best to remove the refs? But if you need the full citations
let me know...

Subject: Maureen wins - PGWG becomes PyGyWG! Notes from Durham...
Hello everyone
Please find attached some rough 'minutes' from the meeting(s) held in
Durham last week. As you'll see, under severe pressure from Lorraine at
the RGS-IBG (!!) we changed our acronym, were compelled to undertake
some form of election for the positions of 'chair', treasurer and
secretary in order to become official and recognised (and get some cash,
leading to a headlong rush for power with the group deciding to 'elect'
from within, thus setting the scene for much 'participatory' work to
come....), and sold our soul to Satan.
However, fear not, this is an interim measure, and proper elections will
be held at our first AGM at the IBG. Please read these notes through as
they detail a few things we should all know about, a few suggested
events/ventures/engagements, and a few potential routes of action. We
need discussion around all these elements, and any suggestions of new
things to do (preferably via the new mailing list), so get subsribed and
fill your mailboxes in whatever fashion with yet more interesting stuff.
We will be forwarding notice of this new venture willy nilly very soon.
Please also take a look at the brief 'blurb' we are intending sending to
a few learned journals, and the abstract for the IBG time we have been
granted in September, and chat away/make suggestions, take bulls by
horns etc.
Cheers for now
Duncan
