Double apologies for any cross-postings after sending this out on npc@jiscmail
but contrary to previous instructions I am now informed that this sort of
mailing should in fact go out on this list.

Dear Jim,
We're doing a big advertising push at the moment to try and increase the number
of applicants on the remaining GRADschools this year. It would be really
helpful if you could forward the following information to your contacts to
circulate to postgraduate researchers.
If you require any further details please let me know.
Many thanks,
Lynn
FREE* places are still available on the remaining GRADschools in 2005. Book your
place now before it's too late!
GRADschools offer 2nd and 3rd year postgraduate researchers the opportunity to
take a few days out of research studies to gain new perspectives on PhD and
career options. GRADschools provide an opportunity to gain motivation,
inspiration and insights into how to enhance working relationships.
The next GRADschool coming up is a 4 day course in Windermere from 23-27th May.
There are only a few places remaining on this course!
The Otterburn GRADschool from 9-14th June is a 5 day course and is the last
GRADschool with outdoor activities until October!
GRADschools are exceptionally highly rated by attendees. Previous participants
have said:
"The GRADschool is excellent, it far outdid my expectations and I came out
feeling confident about myself academically and as someone who had something to
offer employers" (Fauzia Shariff, University of Warwick)
"The GRADschool was such a worthwhile use of my time. I have no doubt that it
has had a huge impact on my life"
(Catherine Morgan, Heriot-Watt University)

*FREE places if you are funded by the UK Research Councils or The Wellcome
Trust. Bursaries available for members of the Royal Society of Chemistry and
the Society for General Microbiology
