Hi Lynne
Can help with Bottle Hill - It was mined for Tin, Copper and
Arsenic. Minerals that I have found there over the years are as follows -
Cassiterite (tin), copper and many secondary copper minerals including
native copper, azurite, cuprite plus others.
Bottle Hill and East Bottle Hill have been mined for many centuries with
references dating back to the 15th century. Not exactly sure when the mines
were closed, but, at a guess it would have been around the turn of the 20th
century. I have not checked any of my records. I can assist on any of the
Devon Mines.
Regards Chris Kelland.
