These are my opinion for now and may change soon.
With respect to rgma we have bigger fish to fry, I did check with Steve who states that as yet nothing uses RGMA as a dependency.
gridice is something I am still awaiting feedback about, though I don't think its critical yet, when the gridice team come back to me I may have further advise.
