What is your definition of LD? In Canada LD comprises of disabilities like
dyslexia, in the UK I think they have different definition. But even here
in Canada not all provinces have same standards e.i in Quebec we have only
began to recognises LD in the French sectors recently. thus students with LD
do not get same accommodations. I would say that only 3 generation of
students with LD have had accommodations thus , others were not receiving
equal education and likely not equal opportunity in employment
