Gregg, your concern is understandable. As a (manual) wheelchair user myself
the thought of handing that control over to someone is difficult to fathom.
But, would it improve the situation if the chair user gave their consent and
the relationship was carefully negotiated?
The core question of this whole thing is, I guess, is there any
independance created for the severly disabled by NEPWAK? Are their any
potential benefits that ever outweigh the negatives?
