Hello,
(1) If you use the right mouse menu
Strip -> Add new strip
it will duplicate the strip you are in, so that is the way to add one not
at the end.
(2) That's not in Analysis currently, presumably you mean horizontal and
vertical lines only.
(3) There is some strip documentation at:
