You're right, voodoo's the wrong word. It just might be better if
Dennis Kelly can positively verify that this is indeed his firewall
issue, rather than, say, a RAL boundary firebridge problem.
A better way of saying that (I now realise) is: does David's ability to
get to cvs.starlink.ac.uk:2401 imply that anyone can and therefore that
it is their problem? It is the case, isn't it, that we, or our sites,
don't have any particular access through the firewalls and firebridges?
I'm pretty sure that is true, so... ignore me.
