Qualitative Research & Systematic Reviews Workshop 27-29 June 2005
Qualitative Research in the context of Systematic Reviews is a new and
growing area of research. As such, there are many learners who are
developing methodology, but few who would classify themselves as an expert -
we are all in the position of being learners.
The CPD Centre at the University of Oxford is running a one and a half day
developmental workshop in Qualitative Research and Systematic Reviews. The
Workshop will be participatory with speakers and participants sharing
experiences and learning from each other.
* Reviewers who are currently working on reviews will describe some of the
challenges and lessons learned from their projects
* Participants will identify areas where knowledge about approaches to
systematic review has advanced
* Those who are new to the process can develop some hands on skills and
identify further training needs
* Everyone can identify areas needing further development
* Experiences will be fed back to the Cochrane Qualitative Methods Review
Group, to help in the development of training
Workshop Date 28-29 June 2005 Participant Fee: £200
Optional Searching Session 27 June 2005 Participant Fee: £50
