Ever the one for being concise - why not go for 'Recording Mining
Landscapes' because:-
1. Most (British) mining is now 'historic', or soon will be.
2. It matters little where the landscapes are.
3. It will upset archaeologists and historians (and geographers?)
equally - so it's fair!
4. It uses less paper.
5. It is precisely the sort of thing that NAMHO should be doing.
The list of topics suggested by Phil ought to give us a good programme and
stimulate discussion.
