medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Latin isn't a suitable language for the analysis of medieval differences in
pronunciation etc. There are some texts in Greek written down by almost
illiterate scribes who ignored orthography and followed the pronunciation
(when it was possible). I looked through several studies of the phenomenon,
but can't find references.
