Reminder,
Can I repeat my request that list members at Universities contact their
IT departments to ask: -
1) if they are drives capable of reading 5.25" floppy disks (we all used
ten years ago)
2) if they have the equipment to translate materials created on BBC
computers from the early 1990s and stored on 5.25" disks.
Please let me know the response (but no need to forward email).
This for an article I'm writing on the survival of digital materials.
