Hi Stuart,
I think that the main British Library Reading Rooms at St Pancras stocks
some issues of the Grocer.
I think a good source for information of this sort is COPAC, which is a
superb online union catalogue of the merged online catalogues of 24
major university research libraries in the UK and Ireland, plus the BL,
and the national libraries of Scotland and Wales.
Information about it at: http://copac.ac.uk/
or bookmark the search page at: http://copac.ac.uk/wzgw
A quick try on this page under Periodical Search shows that 9 of these
libraries hold some copies of the periodical and five of these indicate
which issues they have. Cambridge University Library seems to have a
fairly good run and one can get day tickets to use the library, but
phone first!
Williams Brothers Direct Supply Stores is a little more esoteric and I
had no luck. Even Google has only two entries which I expect you've
already seen.
Interested to know if you manage to find a source to satisfy my own
curiosity.
Best wishes,
Malcolm
