Brad,
You will recall that this is because I broke the CVS version of POLPACK
many months ago when I tried to make it 64-bit friendly. All those
CNF_PVALs caused trouble because of the (POINTER + OFFSET) syntax. I'm
feeling really guilty that I have not yet fixed the problem (I'm really
sorry David).
Search for polbin in the stardev archive.
