None that I know of; moreover I believe it should make some big
efficiency improvements to the StarTable/VOTable custom serialization/
deserialization that I've recently implemented (it should parse the
incoming XML using SAX properly rather than slurping it all into
a DOM as at present which is no good for large tables).
I wouldn't be particularly surprised if an Axis upgrade caused problems
with the AstroGrid CDK, so it may be worth talking to AG about the
consequences before we move, but basically I'd be in favour of upgrading
when 1.2 has been released.
