Appreciation of the business application of EDRMS Technologies

o Implementation guidelines on adopting EDRMS
Identify key components of developing business case for EDRMS
Guidelines on Change Management and educational programmes for end

Session Focus
This workshop has been developed to assist organisations in the development
and implementation of a corporate Electronic Document and Records Management
System.
Introducing an Electronic Records Management strategy cannot be developed in
isolation to an organisations e-business or e-government strategy. The
latter brings about a fundamental change in working practices with the
introduction of Web based, document and workflow technologies new channels
of communication with your citizen or customer. The converse is also true
unless radical change is not undertaken in current filing practices
significant business benefits of your e-business applications will not be
achieved.
A corporate strategy for electronic document and records management plays a
vital role in determining full business benefit is delivered by your
e-business systems.
This workshop provides a set of guidelines on how to apply MoReq, the UK
PRO Functional and ISO 15489 to assist in developing an organisations
Electronic Document and Records management strategy to support and enhance
your e-business strategy.
There has not been a more vital time to re-assess your controls and
availability of electronic recorded information.

boardrooms over inadequate procedures and systems for managing business
documents
