Dear all,
I am the postgrad rep on the BPS standing conference committee and I am
writing to see if anyone is interested in attending the BPS annual
conference (Manchester, 30 march - 2 april) this year as a steward?
The work is varied and interesting and in return your conference
registration fees are paid. There is a possibility that a small
additional payment might be available too (subject to funding from the
BPS research board).
Accommodation and travel costs cannot be met so this may be more
suitable for those based locally.
This is an excellent way of attending this year's quinquennial
conference (see http://www.bps.org.uk/events/ac2005/index.cfm for
further info on the event).
If you are interested, please contact the conference administrator at
the BPS offices, Lorna Savage (Tel: 0116 252 9555 or email
[log in to unmask]) asap and tell her that you received details from
Rosie on the SCC.
Best wishes,
Rosie

Subject: Stewards for Quinquennial
Date: Mon, 28 Feb 2005 16:24:57 +0000
Dear All
Just a quick note to say that I am really struggling to get stewards for
Quinquennial and so far only have 5. I need another 12 and wondered if
anyone had any contacts in Manchester or had a big group of students who
wanted to come and work for us! Lisa is looking into some funding from
Research Board so we might be able to pay them a little (rather than
them
working two days and getting one day free).
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
Kind regards
Lorna Savage
