Hi Andrew,
DSpace and Fedora are obviously good places to start! There's also some really
interesting work going on in the Zope / Plone community, contact Wilbert Kraan,
[log in to unmask] or Scott Wilson, [log in to unmask] for further
details If you're looking at open source repositories can I also suggest that
you also consider the implementation of open specifications and standards, as
open source does not necessarily equate to open standards.

As part of the JORUM project we are looking to the future to see if using open
source solutions for our digital repository would be feasible. I wonder if
anyone knows of any current LOR repositories based on open source software that
we could review – with a few to selecting 3-4 as case studies (why they chose
OS, what went well and what didn’t etc.).
Many thanks,
Andrew
