Researcher for multidisciplinary project centred in HCI
ˆ29,400 - ˆ33,600 per year
The post is a one-year temporary contract first, which may be followed
by a another two-year temporary contract. Job share applications will be
considered.
Applications are invited for a post to work closely together with
existing personnel in a nationally funded project running until May,
2008. You will work primarily at the university in downtown Vienna,
Austria, and partly at the premises of an industrial partner, which is
located in Vienna as well.
For this post, you should have a higher degree or equivalent research
experience related to computing science or electrical engineering.
Knowledge in two or more of the following is necessary: Software
Engineering (especially Object-Oriented Design), User-Interface Design,
Semantic Systems, Ontologies; technically: XML, UML and/or OWL.
The concrete work is scientific/conceptual but also requires
object-oriented implementation skills, preferably in Java.
