2.4 The DialogPlus Toolkit for Learning Activity Designers

6.1 Implications of Project, Service and Institutional Deployment of
Creative Commons Licences in the United Kingdom
…a study into the applicability of Creative Commons licences to
public sector organisations in the United Kingdom. The deadline for
proposals is 1300 GMT on Friday 18 March 2005. Activities should
begin by Thursday 31 March 2005 and be completed no later than
Wednesday 31 August 2005 following a timetable to be agreed. Total
funding of not more than £40,000 is available for this work,
inclusive of all expenses and any applicable VAT. Funded by Becta,
the British Library, DfES, JISC and MLA on behalf of the CIE.

6.2 JISC Call for Projects in Digital Repositories
…invites HE institutions funded via the UK funding bodies, FE
institutions funded directly by HEFCE, and FE institutions in Wales,
Scotland and Northern Ireland, and their consortia, to submit funding
proposals for projects in the area of digital repositories. Due to
the funding streams available for this Programme, English FE
institutions not directly funded by HEFCE are not eligible to bid for
projects. English FE colleges funded directly by the Learning and
Skills Council may only be involved as partners to other projects.
Funding is available for projects of up to two years duration. A
total of £3,500,000 - £4,000,000 is available over two years to
support this programme; it is anticipated that most projects will be
awarded funding of between £25,000 and £200,000. The deadline for
receipt of proposals is 13:00 hours on Thursday 7th April 2005.
Projects should commence in June 2005.

6.3 Formative Evaluation of the JISC Virtual Research Environments
Programme
Funding of up to £200,000 is available for this evaluation study,
including all travel and other expenses and inclusive of VAT, if
applicable. The successful bidder will be expected to commence work
no later than 9 May 2005, and end no later than 31 October 2007. The
deadline for receipt of bids is 13.00 hours on Friday 8th April 2005.
