Bearing in mind that errors can creep in during the 130 or so years that
this information has been collected, Michael Shaw asked could Brownlow
Mining Co. be a missreading/copying of Bromlow and is Westcott Mine really a
Cornish one?
The location of Brownlow is given as Worthen, Shropshire, which suggests
that it may well be Bromlow.
Even allowing for the changes to county boundaries in 1974, it looks a safe
bet that Westcott Mine was the one in Shropshire!
