Just to let you know that the Tenth CETIS-TechDis Accessibility Special
Interest Group (SIG) Meeting, will be hosted by TechDis in York, on
Wednesday 16th March 2005 from 10.30 to approximately 16:00. There is no
charge for attending the meeting and lunch will be provided.
The agenda will include:
* Sharing Current Issues and Practice – Sal Cooke, TechDis.
Current issues facing TechDis on a day-to-day basis concerning content
development, assistive technology and standards.
* Moving Goalposts – Ray Reid, Staffordshire University.
An outline of problems encountered and lessons learned during the
development of an accessible version of the COSE VLE software.
*Implementation of the ACCLIP Specification - Fiona Henry, Loughborough
College.
How the Loughborough Personal Profile Project has used IMS ACCLIP
(Accessibility for Learner Information Package) Specification to provide
different learners with access to the e-progress file.
* Discussion.
Time for discussion about relevant issues.
