Hi,
Stephen is absolutely correct here. What we need is a team of people to
do this systematically. Clearly, one source of full time effort might be
Dave Kelsey's security person (an as yet unfilled post I believe) but also
with contributions from people like Stephen and Steve as well as the likes
of Kostas (and some of the other HEP sysman community). As John pointed
out Andrew McNab also has a great deal of knowledge in this area. I guess
that if such a team is to be formed then it should be by Dave Kelsey, who
is currently away and so there is little that we can do until he returns.
However, we should not let this drop when he does return.
Can anybody think of a reason why we shouldn't do something like this
(other than Steve T. already being over worked!)
All the best,
david
