When I was a GP we did a 1 in 4 and woe betide any patient who went to A&E. How things change. The enigma I find is that because I did not do a GPVTS I can't practice as a GP or work in the OOH dept. Nevertheless in A&E after 5 o'clock, bank holidays, thursday afternoon, weekends I suddenly anm qualified to manage primary care.
Best wishes
