I suggest that you look at the Way Ahead, Danny. 6 SHO
level doctors is utterly inadequate for 54,000
attendances. The recommendation is one SHO for every 5,000
attendances. Many departments don't have such a luxurious
staffing level but you ought to be bidding for another 3
immediately.
I agree best practice is not a single SHO at night, and
agree even more that the New Deal and the EWTD manage to
create some horrible completely compliant rotas!
