Senior Research Fellow - DIPEx project
£27,390 - £36,428 per annum
The Institute of Health & Community Studies at Bournemouth University is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to take a leading role in the development of a module on breastfeeding to contribute to the DIPEx (personal experiences of health and illness) project.
You will lead on ethics committee applications, visit and present DIPEx to professionals, arrange and conduct video and audio recorded narrative interviews throughout the UK and take a leading role in the preparation of proposals for funding for other similar projects.
With a PhD in a social science, you have several years post doctoral experience as an independent qualitative researcher. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including tact and diplomacy and the ability to plan and manage your workload within tight deadlines.

This website provides information on people's experiences of health and illness and links analysis of 30-50 interviews on each condition together with evidence-based information about the health experience/conditions, treatment options where appropriate, answers to frequently answered questions and contact details of support groups.
This post is offered a 2 year fixed-term contract in the first instance.
