Isn't there some form of change log software for cvs that we could use? It
would be useful for the RPMs too.

Steve, can you look at my cron job on saturn. You might want to
relocate this. It needs the script in
buildsupport/misc/summarise-commits, and it needs the location of a
full checkout -- I found the checkout at /apps/statcvs/starlink on
saturn, and discovered that it appears to be up to date. This dumps
the summary file in ~nxg/public_html/summarise-commits.html
