Norman,
RPM allows you to include a change log, as one the items in the spec file,
but it does not really matter.

This is just the output of 'cvs log -d 'date<date' at the top of the
repository, reformatted to look a bit prettier. There might be other
things that can do this, but I didn't find them. I made a rather
cursory search, though, because I thought this would be a quicker hack
than it turned out to be in fact. It's a bit of a rats' nest, but it
appears to work.
Out of curiousity, how would this be useful for the RPMs?
