Out of curiosity, WHY 7 years and not some other number? I'm not
intimating that it's a BAD number, but it seems to perpetuate the old
"7 year myth" about retention... when you don't know how long to keep
something, keep it 7 years.
Also, if you're planning 7 years for the hardcopy, then why would you
keep a portion of the request information around in perpetuity on a
database, especially if you aren't at least keeping an image of the the
request it supports?
