The Impact and Outcomes of Library and Information Services: Performance
measurement for a changing information environment
 
 
Following five highly successful previous Conferences since 1995, the
Division of Information and Communication Studies in the School of
Informatics, Engineering and Technology at the University of Northumbria in
Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, is pleased to announce its sixth conference in 2005
and to issue this Call for Papers.

Library and information professionals in ALL sectors of library and
information services and research and teaching staff.

Conference presentations are sought in, but not limited to the following

PRESENTATION FORMATS
Proposals are invited for presentations in a variety of formats which may
include, but are not limited to:
¡ñSeminar Presentation ¡ñPanel Discussion ¡ñWorkshop ¡ñMeet the Expert
moderated question and answer ¡ñPoster Session ¡ñDemonstration ¨C
Information Technology/Audiovisual 
 
Presentation sessions should be no more than 30 minutes in length including
time for questions from the audience.   An outline of the presentation
together with appropriate handouts and/or bibliographies should be made
available (in electronic format) in advance of the conference for inclusion
in the conference notebook.  Posters will be displayed for the duration of
the conference with specific time allocated for delegates to discuss posters
with the presenters.  Posters are particularly welcome from students.
Poster size should be ISO A1 (594 mm by 841 mm).
 
The language of the Conference is English
