Steve
<<Hello list,
Recently I had the chance to catch up with an old boss who is now working
on a grant that is geared to develop new curriculum for students in Special
Education who are transition students (ages 18-21). Her grant is to develop
a new curriculum (in Washington State) that will be introduced in
classrooms with the hope that more students will be prepared for advanced
education or vocational opportunities once they graduate. I was thinking
that it would be great if I could suggest to her some Disability Studies
resources, as opposed to more ideas from traditional 'educators or
specialists'.
So I was wondering if anyone out there could suggest to me some sources
that address curriculum design and transition age students, that centers on
vocational and educational options.
Thanks,
Mike
