Hi Jean,
Why are all the babies born in hospital?

Subject: Hello from Jean Greer
I am a caseload midwife working in the Royal/Jubilee maternity service in
Belfast. This service has been up and running for about 7 years now. There
are 6 midwives on the team and we work in pairs, each midwife carrying a
personal caseload of between 35-40 women a year. A/n and P/n care can be
given at home or in hospital, whichever the woman prefers, but all babies
are delivered in hospital.
I have recently enrolled at Queen's University Belfast as a post-grad
student and hope to evaluate this service.
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards,Jean
