The Fifth Meeting on Multiagent Systems and
New Trends in Soft Computing

Topics
------
The Agent Days 2005 conference invites high quality papers reporting
research results and/or experience related to agent technology and
soft computing. The conference will in particular welcome novel
contributions based on new ideas and/or new applications of these
techniques. The topics of the conference include (but are not limited
to):
- Multi-agent systems in high-performance processing,
- Evolutionary algorithms,
- Ant Colony Optimization,
- Agent based simulation and optimization,
- Agent and multi-agent system architectures, models and formalisms,
- Organization and social aspects of multi-agent systems,
- Learning and self-organization in multi-agent systems,
- Agent negotiation and bargaining,
- Applications in Bioinformatics,
- Applications in Computer Games.
The programme committee will evaluate each contributed research and
experience paper based on its relevance, novelty, significance, clarity,
originality, and correctness.
Language
--------
The official language is English.
Submission
----------
The papers should be prepared using Latex or Microsoft Word,
according to the style specifications that can be found at the
event homepage. Length of submitted papers is up to 8 pages long.
Papers must be submitted electronically (PDF or compressed postscript)
to the address: [log in to unmask]
Publication
-----------
All accepted papers will be published in a special issue of
"Inteligencia Artificial", the Iberoamerican journal of artificial
intelligence. A booklet with preprints of accepted papers will be
distributed at the conference.
In addition, negotiations are underway to arrange a special issue of
an impact journal for selected extended versions of accepted papers.
